pixiv 股份有限公司运营了 pixiv 网站，此网站主要由日本艺术家所组成的以插图、漫画和小说艺术为中心的虚拟社区网站。由上谷隆宏等人于 2007年9月10日 首次推出第一个测试版，网站名称的词源来自像素(pixel)。

商业限制

2022年10月15日，pixiv 发布了公告，表示旗下的商业性服务 BOOTH、pixivFANBOX 和 pixivリクエスト機能(pixiv Requests feature) 将禁止一系列的作品：¹

• 児童ポルノまたは児童虐待
• 近親相姦
• 獣姦
• レイプ (同意の無い性的行為)
• 人または体の非合法的な切断　
• など公序良俗に反する行為

用户则对此很气愤，认为这剥夺了言论自由，² 而罪魁祸首被认为是信用卡公司，因为之前 信用卡公司 就禁止过 Pornhub 以及 DMM 支付方式。³⁴

vpixiv 是 AWM 个人开发的提供P站(pixiv)画、动图、漫画、小说的镜像网站，最新内容实时更新。⁵ 因为是 2022年6月11日 左右上线的网站，所以还未像 pixiv 一样，被 GFW 封锁。⁶

虽然是 pixiv 的镜像站，但 vpixiv 含有审查功能，不显示 R18 标签的内容，并且有关键词审查，根据 pixiv 用户的测试，使用了关于政治的敏感词之后，vpixiv 上面的对应的镜像页面就显示 404 Not Found 了。⁷ 根据作者的说法，屏蔽的是 R18 和高敏感度内容。⁸
